What are You Celebrating on December 25th?

December 25th.  Christmas day, the day we celebrate something.  That’s the real question though.  What?

For me it’s the birth of Jesus, the Babe, the Man, the God that brought me out of the darkness and into the light.  From a place where I thought I was living but in reality I was more dead than if my body had had no pulse.  The Babe, the Man, the God that so radically changed my life that I don’t want to go another second of my life without considering Him.  What I celebrate on December 25th is something I simply can’t explain.  It’s so important though that I have to let you know.  The best way I can do that is to share a video with you.  You may have seen it before.  Many of you won’t watch it.  Some won’t understand it.  Unfortunately, others will ignore it.  Please, I beg you to watch, hear, listen, and consider Dr.  S.M. Lockridge’s words.

That’s My King!

What I celebrate for Christmas isn’t Santa Claus, it isn’t Gift giving, not my grandchildren’s wonderful presence here on this earth or the love I have for them, not the love I have for their parents or my other children and their wives (My daughters by marriage).  It’s not even the love I have for my wife and thankfulness I feel every time I see her.  I celebrate the one gift that was given to me that can never be taken away.  The one given to me by God.

Jesus!

He died on a cross for your sins.  He rose again, defeating death itself.  He offers you eternal life if you believe in Him.

Will you accept His free gift of Grace?

Will you accept the Greatest Gift ever given?

There is no need to try to clean up your life or do anything for Him.  He will take care of all that.  All you need to do is believe.  Believe that He is the Son of God, that He died for your sins, and that He rose again defeating death to offer you life.  Call out to Him telling Him that you are sorry for your sins and that you want Him to live in you.  Then if you’re sincere… He’ll change your life.

Please call out to Him right now if you’re not celebrating the real Gift of Christmas.

Please make Him your King too.

Love in Christ,

Colby

Merry Christmas!
